Hi,

I attached my Overo Ironstorm COM on my Robovero board. I am powering up the Robovero board and connecting the board to my Ubuntu dev machine using a usb cable (via mini usb port on Robovero and the usb port on my dev machine)

 

I am seeing the red LED blink at heart rate on Robovero and another green LED on Robovero board. I also see a green LED on Overo COM.

 

When execute, "ls /dev/tty*" on dev machine, I can see the following:

/dev/ttyACM0

/dev/ttyUSB0

/dev/ttyUSB1

 

However, when I try to connect to Overo console through Robovero by following the instructions on http://gumstix.org/connect-to-my-gumstix-system.html , I can never see the boot screen for Overo. I am stuck at the following screen:

 

(/home/ays/) C-Kermit>set flow-control none
(/home/ays/) C-Kermit>set carrier-watch off
(/home/ays/) C-Kermit>connect
Connecting to /dev/ttyUSB0, speed 115200
 Escape character: Ctrl-\ (ASCII 28, FS): enabled
Type the escape character followed by C to get back,
or followed by ? to see other options.

Is there anything I am missing? I tried to connect with all the following kermit commands with no luck:

kermit -l /dev/ttyUSB0

kermit -l /dev/ttyUSB1

kermit -l /dev/ttyACM0

 

Note: When I connect with kermit to /dev/ttyACM0, I am able to execute the Robovero NXP command line functions.
